Our Saesal Laser is a detail-driven, scar-by-scar treatment that reflects KKEUT Clinic’s core philosophy.
1) CO₂ vs. Er:YAG — chosen per area
- Broad, firm scars: stronger stimulation with CO₂
- Thin, sensitive zones: finer control with Er:YAG
- The physician selects the platform case by case based on tissue characteristics.
2) Custom pinhole spacing & diameter
- Standard spacing is ~1–2 mm
- Adjusted to wider (≥3 mm) or denser grids as needed
- We tailor spacing, diameter, and depth to the scar’s location, shape, and thickness.
3) Depth design to the upper vs. lower dermis
- Decide superficial vs. deeper passes
- Target upper dermis only or go to the lower collagen layer when indicated
- These ranges are individually set under the physician’s judgment—this level of nuance requires real know-how.

What is the Hypertrophic Scar Saesal Laser (Pinhole Technique)?
The Saesal (pinhole) technique creates micro-holes at ~1–3 mm intervals within the raised scar using CO₂ or Er:YAG.
This releases overgrown collagen bundles, loosens the scar architecture, and helps the lesion settle down naturally.
