High-density treatments by design
One-to-one care and a relaxed booking system let us treat precisely—without rushing.
Three toning systems by area
We combine dual (RTP), fractional, and standard 1064-nm toning to match each body area, minimizing irritation while maximizing results.
Evidence-based minimum of 1,500 shots per area
Based on clinical data showing meaningful pigment response at 1,000–1,500 cumulative shots, we set ≥1,500 shots per area as our baseline.
Progress tracked with records
For body areas, we manage progress with before/after photos to adjust plans systematically.
Your time is our promise
If wait time exceeds your appointment by 10 minutes, we offer 5% off per additional 10 minutes—a commitment to respecting your time.
We cap daily patient volume. The medical director consults directly and performs fully one-to-one customized treatment. With roughly one-third the booking density of typical clinics, we can adjust mode, energy, and pattern in real time for accurate, high-density delivery.
Body pigmentation varies by thickness, depth, spread, and sensitivity. We therefore treat with a three-mode framework, not a single setting:
Dual Toning (RTP) — for thin, sensitive areas (e.g., underarms, groin). Two passes at one spot target melanin precisely with low thermal load, sparing melanocytes; helpful for PIH.
Fractional Toning (fractional 1064) — for thicker skin and deeper pigment (e.g., knees, elbows, buttocks). Densely focuses energy into the dermis; supports pigment clearance and collagen remodeling.
Standard Toning (uniform 1064 nm) — for shallow or diffuse pigment and overall dullness. Smooths overall tone; when combined with other modes, helps stabilize and prevent recurrence.
Why all three?
Causes and conditions differ across body sites. By matching mode to anatomy, we avoid unnecessary irritation and deliver exactly what’s needed, where it’s needed. Even with the same laser, technique changes outcomes.
For body pigmentation, we standardize at ≥1,500 shots per area. This is grounded in clinical literature (e.g., Kauvar et al., Dermatologic Clinics, 2012) showing significant pigment response beyond 1,000–1,500 shots. We design dose by distribution, depth, and skin reactivity for clinically meaningful treatment.
Because devices often struggle to image body pigment reliably, we document with personalized photography before/after. These aren’t just comparisons—they guide treatment adjustments.
Wait-time discounts (5% per 10 minutes) are our standard, not a perk—so treatment density is never sacrificed to overbooking.
Not just removal—we target melanin production, transfer, and residual pigment in multiple steps:
Selective melanin targeting
Low-fluence 1064-nm toning repeatedly targets melanin while sparing surrounding tissue, gradually evening tone.
→ Melanin only; skin remains calm and stable.
Pigment, not cells
With nanosecond-range delivery, energy disrupts melanin granules without stimulating melanocytes.
→ Lower risk of re-pigmentation; safer, steadier recovery.
Blocking the pigment “pathway”
Melanin moves along melanocyte dendrites to the surface. Toning partly suppresses this transfer, limiting new pigment reaching the epidermis.
→ Removes existing pigment + reduces new formation + inhibits transfer.
Dual Toning (RTP mode)
Two split passes at one spot maintain efficacy with lower energy—ideal for sensitive areas and helpful for PIH.
→ Safe, precise care on thin, reactive skin.
Fractional Toning (fractional 1064 handpiece)
Micro-fractionated delivery reaches the dermis, addressing deep pigment while also aiding texture and collagen.
→ Suited for thick skin with deep, longstanding pigment.
Typical course: every 1–2 weeks, ≥10 sessions recommended.
Low-fluence toning breaks pigment gradually; visible change often appears from 5–10 sessions onward.
Why 1–2 weeks?
It aligns with melanin clearance by macrophages and the skin renewal cycle (≈7–14 days).
Maintenance for tone/texture: every 3–6 weeks after completion to prevent rebound and refine texture.
Topical anesthetic (optional)
For sensitive areas or pain concerns, numbing can be applied with a brief wait.
Area assessment & plan
Based on pigment depth, thickness, and sensitivity, we choose among standard / RTP / fractional and set fluence, shot count, handpiece per area.
Mirror check with patient
We pinpoint the most bothersome patches together to prioritize treatment focus.
Topical anesthetic (optional)
(If selected) proceed under minimized discomfort.
Laser toning (≥1,500 shots per area)
Standard toning is the base; RTP or fractional are added as needed—ample but gentle, without over-irritation.
Review & guidance
We explain mode, handpiece, fluence, total shots, then provide immediate cooling and aftercare as needed.
Progress comparison (on request)
At session 5 / 10, we can help compare progress photos for body areas.
Underarm/bikini darkening after hair removal (shaving/waxing)—PIH care
Buttocks/inner thighs darkening from pressure & friction—often dermal-level pigment
Sportswear/bra-strap friction darkening at cleavage or flanks—diffuse, shallow pigment
Knees/elbows/ankles with thick skin and old pigment—benefit from fractional combination
Back/buttock acne marks and textural irregularities
Body pigment that didn’t improve with brightening products/home care
Those who want targeted correction of noticeably darker patches, not just overall brightening
Cleansing/makeup are generally okay the same day; be diligent with broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Focus on soothing and hydration while skin is temporarily reactive.
Mild swelling or redness can occur and usually settles naturally; if it persists for several days, please visit for evaluation.
